It does not matter how old you are, you could still get an education. You could be fifty years or older, and it still would not matter at all. They call it adult education and it is specifically designed for people just like you who either did not get the chance when they were younger, or did not take the chance when they had it. But there is no shame in adult education, just you, and what you are hoping to achieve.
Any adult who wonders if their life has just ended because they aren’t schooled has got to change their thinking. If there’s one thing I have learnt in all my time as a teacher, it is that anyone can be taught if they want to. Just try some adult education, will you?
If you think your level of education is holding you back professionally or in any way at all, all you need is just to go back to school and get the extra education that you believe you need. I know you may have thought that it was not possible; but you are wrong. With adult education, you could do all that and more.
It does not have to be about getting a better job. It does not even have to be about having a higher standing in society, or about people looking up to you and all that. Seeking adult education could just be about you trying to feel better about yourself; it could be about you saying to yourself that you actually amount to something. So for whatever reason you deem worthy, you are better off with adult education.
Your adult education – or the lack thereof – could be the only thing standing between you and your dream job. Don’t you think you ought to get started as soon as possible? I mean, in the United States it is a big deal, and one that has been made available such that you could learn almost for a song these days. There is no reason for you to be living in defeat.
